Way to go! One great thing about the RB-Js is that there is no shortage of grips for comfort and use-ability. (Is that a word?)

There is a semi-retired LEO on this Forum who would engage in long distance shooting (IIRC, 100yds+) with other instructors using 2" bbl J-frames. The original Js from the 50s-70s were regulated for the 158gr LRN service load. Try one at distance with this load using a rest and you may be pleased. YouTube's Hickok45 regularly hits his 80-yard gong with all sorts of small handguns.
