Go get some light loaded 148 gr wadcutters. Set up a target at say 10 yds. Shoot single action with a 2 hand grip and hands resting on sandbags or something similar. Years ago I thought of short barreled guns as belly guns and not capable of any accuracy. I picked up a 36-1 J frame 3" barrelled 38. Imagine my surprise when I did this and it shot one ragged hole. Its harder to do your part with a lighter, shorter sight based gun, but if youu do yours they will amaze you.

If you spend a lot of time shooting J framed snubs in a serious manner, bigger guns with longer barrels would seem like a cake walk. If somebody can hit a ballot with one at 100 yds while holding the gun upside down the guns accuracy isn't the issue.
