In all my pistols I avoid steel cased ammo. The gunsmith who I purchased them from and does any "work" I need is recognized locally as an expert, 2nd generation armorer. My pistols are not junk so why feed them junk. Quality brass cased ammo does not have to cost a lot of money. Perfecta brass cased from Walmart has been 100% at less than $10. box of 50 in 9mm and less than $13 in .380. I also use Aguila 124 gr, Winchester, Federal and Remington in 115 gr. I prob have few other brands I've omitted that cycled 100%. I had problems / fits with Blazer 115 in my 9mm Shield until the feed ramp was polished and the gun thoroughly inspected by my GS. After it ran no problem, as in finishing up the 90 or so blazer brass rounds I had left. I don't buy blazer 9mm any more though. As for the steel cased stuff I've heard a few explanations but I am no expert, I trust the experts for advice.
Note: My Shield is not a PC version, just chiming in with a general comment since the topic is ammo.
