Glad that it helped, Also glad you understood what I was driving at since I didnt point out that the spring I was referring to is replaceable and pinned inside the guide rod behind the plunger.

You can drive the retaining pin out of the guide rod and replace the plunger spring keeping that assembly as a spare. I have purchased replacement springs online from a company called WOLFF springs with very good luck.
