I am seriously thinking about the 60 3", but I loved my long-departed 19 4". I handled my Deputy Sheriff buddy's 19 snubby 2 1/2"? & I
LOVED it! The new 66 2 3/4 "(?) seems to be a great alternative, but I have heard they will be offered in 2 1/2"
My Dan Wesson with its tensioned barrels was one of the most accurate handguns I have owned! That probably says good things about the new 66.
I'm new to the snubby world,and wondering just how much difference in velocity/expansion from a 2 1/2" or 2 3/4" barrel compared to a 3"? Enough to worry about, or is this just another thing that will generate discussion/arguments for years?
Speer claims expansion for their 135 gr. short barrel load(my EDC) from their 1.785" or 2" barrels, so It should be sufficient from a 2 1/2" or longer barrel, right?
