For very small areas, usually just a touch-up spot, lay a small piece of 320 sandpaper on the spot and tap it good on top with a small, flat-headed hammer. Tap away until you get the look you want. When finished, one fella said he used a brass brush to blend all the spots together. I read it on this forum but don't ask where! hahahaha
