If my LGS had it, I would be intrigued. See if they offer any kind of guarantee that it is a good shooter with no mechanical issues. It can't hurt to ask. Also, if you feel the need to take it to a 'smith, negotiate a reduced price to cover that expense.

The stocks are football diamond targets in great shape.
The barrel length is 4"

The lockup I found acceptable but may not have checked it as well as the OP
