I shoot old ammo all the time - never any problems. Just shot some 150 grain 30-06 the other day and it was made by Lake City Arsenal in 1966. I routinely shoot Remington 148 grain .38 Special wad cutters made in the late 50' or early 60's that my Dad left me cases of. I also hunt with 12 gauge #5 & #6 Shot, Hi-Brass from Remington & Winchester - some of which are actually paper hulls (probably from the 50's or 60''s too) - never a problem.

As long as it was stored properly it should function as intended.
