That 2" Rossi .38 Special of mine is a stainless steel model that does have some heft. But, in regards to lightweight J-frame type revolvers, my wife did like the way her 2" Taurus Ultra-light .38 Special felt in her hand but found out it bites when fired. Her night stand gun now is a Model 15-4.
