UPDATE:

OK, here's the range report... (not happy)

I shot it in 2 revolvers and 4 semi-autos - a Ruger Mark I, III and IV, plus a High Standard.

Accuracy was good and function was OK....except................

I could only load 5 rounds in the mags. If I tried a full mag (10), they hung up and would FTF, or cause a stovepipe....every time with every gun.

I switched to Federals, and then CCI Mini-Mags and also some old PMC regular velocity, and after 300 more rounds not a single issue. Then went back to the Aquilas and back to the same problem.

It was not a power issue (failing to push the slide back all the way), the rounds simply were sticky in the mag and would not slide up. With the mag out of the gun you could see the problem. 100% reliability if only 5 were loaded at a time. The same issue was not evident with other manufacturers.

I visually inspected and felt the Aquilas and I really couldn't detect any outward physical issue. Dimensions were checked with a mic and there was no difference there either.

(PS - I didn't notice any smell issues, but then again I don't smell too good......LOL.)
