I have only first hand experience with the 6906 since dao just doesn't work for me but in my opinion the double stack alloy frame 69xx pistols are real sleepers....I foolishly traded a mint 6906 with box a few years ago...I think it may be time to find a shooter grade (which at the time are plentiful) since I just found a stash of 12 round mags I forgot i bought
