Hmmmm....not totally my experience. I have seen only one 3" 66, and that was years ago, when my kids were in High School, and I couldn't afford it.
The Smiths I see now have been rode hard and put away wet, and co$t a mint! Might as well buy a new one.
I tried to order a 3" Ruger Security Six some years ago, but they must have had like 3, and they were gone before I got my order in.
The pixes of the new 66 look
really good, and 3"-2.75"... not a lot of difference, I guess, seeing as my EDC ammo is the Speer 135 gr. Short Barrel, or Rem Golden Saber and they expand from very short barrels. I just may sell my 586 no dash to finance the purchase....no I won't!
IMNHO...wait a few months so they will get the new model gremlins worked out.
