My 625-2 has very tight cylinder holes and throats so after about 50 rounds, maybe less, the 6 rounds in moon clips become very slow loading into the cylinder and closing the cylinder easily is not possible until I clean the cylinder holes with a .50cal bore brush.

No problem with 45AR

When the gun is clean it functions as intended.

I think the original owner of this beautiful revolver sold it to me was because of the tight cylinder.

At the range I often load only one round at a time for slow single action fire so 45 Auto Rim is my preferred range ammo.If I do use 45acp doing the same slow fire I'll pick the empties out with my fingers.

If this very heavy 5" barrel gun was a carry gun or used for home defense I'd surely use full moon clips with one at a time hand loaded Remington virgin brass.

Different brands of .45acp brass fit differently in my moon clips. Also the moon clips that I own vary in thickness as much a .005".
