Years ago I had a Taurus PT 22. Traded it in fast after the slide blew off at the range. Don't know if they fixed the problems. My 642 has been great and goes almost anywhere. If you want something smaller, trade that Taurus in on a Ruger LCP. In any case, keep the 442.
