....they are always having to invent new ways to detect 'bots', i.e. people using computer programs to compete against others. I for the life of me can't understand how that can possibly make anyone feel better about themselves. Unless maybe that a person was extremely shallow to the point that just saying they beat someone gives 'bragging rights' or even any feeling of accomplishment.

What if a guy won a target shooting match by having a gyroscope in the handle of his pistol? I saw today that there are small enough motors to put in a bicycle down bar that drives the pedals with enough force to climb a hill. I couldn't live with myself but some can and do.

If this is so, what 'value' are 'likes' on a board like this.
