For me, it was a close call between the Shield and the Walther PPS M2. The Walther trigger felt a bit better and the grip was very nice. The Walther was a few ounces heavier and had less aftermarket support. Plus it was a little more expensive. That combined with the Shields rep for reliability and lower weight won out.
