I rotate the Shield 9 and the 9C. I don't find the 9C any more difficult to conceal, but I can definitely "feel" it more when I carry it. I'm in Mass so 10 rounds is it. I don't know where you're located but here in mass ,my shield is my "summer" carry and my 9C (and an XDM 3.8C .45) are my usual Winter carries. Clothing options and whether or not I am going to be sitting down and removing my coat come into play when I choose which one is going out today. I shoot the 9C better than the shield outside of 10 yards, inside? pretty much the same.
