Well, your friend is trying to push a $1000 gun on you with serious condition flaws in your opinion. I too would have issues paying that kind of money for a new gun that looks like it skidded across a concrete floor. I would hope he would hear you out and try to help. I would think/hope he would be concerned about his reputation.
