Any time you take possession of a gun it's yours to deal with. I don't deal with gun shops that won't help me if I have a problem. I've learned from dealing with box stores that it can be a real hassle to get a problem fixed no matter what they promised you. I bought a shotgun from Gander Mtn. once. I didn't notice there was a problem with the carrier follower. They gave an extra year's warranty on the guns they sold at the time. They even had an in-house gunsmith to fix any warranty issues. I like to never got them to fix that problem and I told them about it within a week of buying that gun. Look close before you buy unless you can trust your dealer. Still look close but you can worry less.
