This renickeled cut down 1890 Colt .44-40 reminds me of some guns used in old B westerns. In these movie books there's an occasional nickel Colt being used by one of the heroes cut down to 5" like this one. Only thing is, jigged bone grips would be better. These books, especially the two on top, are excellent and crammed with close ups of guns and rigs these western guys used. All I need now is a white hat...and a horse to head 'em off at the pass.
