Correct. I fired 1000+ live rounds, and 2500+ dry-fires since I pulled the flag and no problems at all. To me it did not look the rest rest would cause a issue.

To be honest I did not know anyone came up with a plug so I guess I might look into it and get rid of the rest of the stuff.

This is all I did to mine. If you go to the 5 min. mark you will see the flag and sping.
