While I've never cared much for the heavy barrel Model 10's, I do like the classic standard barrel guns. I've got two now...have owned several others at various times.
This one, a "no dash" from 1960 shows some abuse, or neglect.
Whereas this one, a 10-5 looks barely used.
There was a time, when I was young and under the spell of Jeff Cooper and the IPSC crowd that I looked down my nose at the Model 10. It was "quaint and old fashioned." Now that I'm "quaint and old fashioned" myself, I'm glad I discovered them.
