I have lots of 38 M&P revolvers, but only two Model 10s.

This first one I bought about 20 years ago. A 10-5. Best deal I ever got on a S&W, $125 out the door. I don't care for the bull barreled models, I prefer the old tapered barrels. I have always assumed this one was a police trade in. The number stamped above the trigger guard looks like a police armorer's inventory number.





I ran into this 10-5 just last year. Just about identical to the other one, I only grabbed it on a whim.




One of these days I'd like to find a nice Model 10 with a 6" tapered barrel.
