two guns........ one caliber or two???.....
ammo stored in a cool, dry place..... is good for 20...30...40 years.....
if I was a "nubie"......I'd buy a box of 50 carry HPs every month ( or 2 weeks) until I had 500 rounds in my stash of carry ammo..................
every trip to Wallys-world..... buy what you are going to shoot ..... then double it...........once you get a 'Rolling stash" you are good to go.
