2 Shield broken / missing parts
Purchased a new shield 45 cal when disassembled for cleaning (b/4 firing) the sear deactivation lever fell out. Talked with S&W customer service and was advised to return the pistol for warranty repair. Received back in 2 weeks, have shot 100 rounds and everything works fine. Customer Service was excellent to work with, provided updates and return shipping date.
I just purchased a new shield 9mm Performance Center, when disassembled for cleaning (b/4 firing) notice the ejector was missing. Dealer confirmed it was missing, have since contacted S&W and am in process of sending back for warranty repair.
