I bought a Shield .45 for off duty carry. I have had about 4 months. I qualified with after I first got. Very accurate controllable pistol. I thought all is well in my world...
I did my next quarterly qualification, 50 rounds per qual. Total of 100 rounds through the gun. I took it apart to clean it and the recoil spring assembly came apart. No way to reassemble it. I called S&W and the customer service representative said he would see if he could find one to send out to me. Needless to say I no longer trust that gun. Bummer, it's such a nice carry and very accurate...😩
