Default Not really 9mm..

I bought 1000 of these locally. Look great, clean, nice brass, shiny jackets, etc. Range results pretty sad. 3 or 4 shots ok and then fliers..... I followed with a mag of Federal, one of Blazer, one of AE. No problems with accuracy. Back to these. Couple ok then fliers...

So I came home and tore a few apart. The bullets are measuring 8.90mm to 8.92mm. Certainly not the full 9.0mm the Federal, Blazer, and AE all measured.

SAAMI spec is 9.030-.076. After the math, that leaves a minimum of 8.954. Not much rifling engagement...

Called U.S. Distributor for this Brazilian made ammo, and explained my issue. No argument, sent UPS label, and promised to refund any unused ammo. Just sent, and awaiting refund.

It was some of the cheapest I found locally, and probably ok for the 90% or so of shooters that don't know poor accuracy or consistency when they see it. It' too easy to blame the short barreled gun or the shooter (like me). Facts don't lie. Ok for plinking, not for competition.
