I don't have any experience with the Undercover specifically but I have owned one of their .44 Spl Bulldogs since summer 2010. I've prob put a few hundred rounds thru it of various mfg with no issues (no buffalo bore though)...for the $300ish I paid for it I've been happy with it. For a shoot occasionally CCW, the Charter Arms is a good gun for the money in my experience.

For heavier handloads and buffalo bore stuff I stick to my Ruger Blackhawk.
