Hi there. Good question because initially I thought so and what I determined was that there was a little extra kydex that needed to be removed and that's why it was rubbing against my slide. But again, it hasn't scratched in so long so I'm thinking that had to be the issue. I actually called Vedders after it happened and they said often times their holster have slightly scratched pistols in the past, but it's not a normal occurrence and it's not excessive. I'm a little disappointed, but I've also heard there isn't a perfect holster out there. Either way, if I can remove the scratch, I'd be very happy!
