Are you sure it's a scratch and not kydex residue? I had a similar "scratch" on my 9c after using an IWB kydex holster that was removed with rubbing peanut butter on the mark. It's slightly abrasive and tastes good too. I used peanut butter to remove some foreign paint marks on my car once. Works great.
