I have always wanted one of Trooper MK IIIs in 22 LR and I see them for sale occasionally either at a price point well above my affordability, or often beyond what I would be willing to pay. In fact, right now my local Cabela's store has one in their gun library priced at around $1200 with a 6" barrel, if that gives you any indication on value, though this gun has been in their case for close to two years now at that price. My attempts to try to negotiate a better price have fallen on deaf ears, and thus there it stays.

It seems that outside of the Python, Cobra, and Diamondback DA revolvers, the rest don't seem to sell very well. Why that is, I cannot say. The original Trooper 357 I had a few years ago was one heck of a quality revolver at a $600 price point, though just not quite as good as my S&W 28-2.
