My first gun was a Winchester Model 121 single shot, bolt action .22 long rifle. I took my Hunter Safety test with it and passed easily. I've put lots of rounds through this bolt gun and taught both of my kids to shoot with it as well. In fact I taught my grandson to shoot with it too.

It still resides in my gun safe and now sports a Bushnell 3x9 .22 scope. When I'm feeling nostalgic and want to go shooting just for fun I get out the Winchester and head to the range with a couple of boxes of .22 LR ammo.
