Far as I can remember my first gun (that was actually mine) was an SKB 12 gauge semi auto. I shot that for several years until I got an 1187 which I still have. My first revolver was a new Ruger Single Six convertible, stainless, which I still have. I was probably about 12 or 13. At some point I was given a new Ruger #1 in 243 which for some reason got traded off but I can't remember for what. The first gun I ever bought myself was a new Ruger Mini-14, and I paid all of $350 for it. Wish I could get another one for that price! My first S&W was a 4" 686 which I eventually traded to my Dad for a 357 Blackhawk. Now I have both of them and I will pass them on.
