Not a fear mongering kind but for me porting is good on competition guns and that about wraps that up but to each there own I don't buy into it'll blind you BS that others talk about seen them fired at night and honestly the flash isn't any different than what comes out the end of the barrel so not a big deal but they are louder but not that much that it is going to be a issue.
