In the early 1970's they would stamp the serial umber on the parts when a revolver was sent back to S&W for a refinish to ensure they got back to the correct gun after refinishing, If the cylinder is K-22 length it may have been a refinished part for a K-22.
Guessing if in high condition maybe $75 to $100 ?
Problem is the serial stamp makes it less desirable to someone that has a blemished cylinder and wants a swap in unit.
