I'm next door in SC, and hubby and I both have car vaults for temporary use if a no-carry zone is encountered.
For some around here, even having had multiple occasions of guns stolen from their cars doesn't make people secure their guns in their cars, or even lock their cars.
I've also noticed an awful lot of people leave other expensive valuables in full view in their cars. While it's a generally low-crime rate area, once in a while there is a night when large numbers of cars get ransacked, but the careless behavior is still prevalent.
I guess those things came easy to those folks.
