I'm with Engine 49 on this.
The 69, now that the crown has been cleaned up, is a much better 44 Special than any of my 3 624s.
Pretty sure it has to do with oversize cylinder mouths.
The 6-1/2" is the worst of the lot.
And, my 696 is more accurate than any of the 624s.
