When I started in law enforcement in 1976, most of the deputies that I worked with carried M19s. The set-up that most folks wanted back then were target hammers and triggers. I swapped lot a bunch between the Lee Co SO, Auburn PD and Opelika PD. I installed a bunch of red ramps and white outline rear sights too.
