My state of "informed-ness" isn't definite either, but a while ago I spent some time digging around on the internet trying to find the answers. Lots of indefinite stuff floating around, something about maybe a son-in-law, but the majority view than emerged was "new business with the old trademarks". Nothing to take to court though.
I'll be happy to be corrected if someone actually KNOWS.
Maybe one should try calling this guy Brian that keeps getting mentioned and just ask, but he doesn't seem to answer his phone ...
