Perhaps Numrich can advise what the OEM part number on their part is when you call them.

I believe any of these listed extractors will function in your pistol. Remember that the new extractor is not a "drop in" will need to be fit. Fitting involves space gauges and a tension gauge.
Thanks for the info. Since I'm not the original owner, sending the pistol to S&W for repair would be quite expensive.

I don't have a space gauge nor a tension gauge. What does the space gauge measure? The vertical dimension of the extractor?

And here I thought it was just a matter of drifting out the pin and resetting it the new extractor.

Is a broken extractor common with S&W pistols? Not acceptable.
