Do you mean the round is too long for the cylinder or the entire case won't fit in the cylinder? If that is the case then it won't make any difference how deep you seat it.

Also, has this brass been sized? New, unsized brass fits fine in my Bisley, but if I want it to chamber correctly in my Old Model Blackhawk I have to size it.
