Back to the truck gun, I've been asked why I guns in my truck by tourist and foreigners. It is absolutely in the norm to come up on a car in the middle of the road, man out of the vehicle going SHHH!! Taking a shot at a groundhog, crow or yote. I scared two hippie chicks to death one time. I came around a blind curve, and they were standing in the middle of the road looking at something. On the edge was a huge 3' cooter (mud turtle to you yankees). I said holy $#!+ and jumped out and rattled off 5 well placed 38 specials into it. Scared them girls to death. They promptly called the police and upon hearing what id done, communications asked "did you thank him?" They yelled a lot of obsenenities, and a lot of "hicks" and "rednecks" and left the scene of the so-called murder.
