I think the 1st owner of my 625-2 was frustrated with rounds chambering and the cylinder turning that he sold it.

The brass cases of different ammo makers have different sized extractor cutouts so they will fit differently in moon clips.Also the thickness of the moon clips in the same pack(Ranch) can vary up to about .05".

I fixed my revolver by polishing the cylinder holes and using Remington cases.I also use the thinnest moon clips I have.

I carry a pistol cleaning rod to the range with a 50 caliber bore brush attached to clean the holes when they start to get tight.

I've mostly moved away from using moon clips and load 45 Auto Rim

Some competitions require reloading speed so 45 Auto Rim may not be an option for that.
