OK so I put my theory to the test and took a fine warding file to the area in question and low and behold it now doesn't snag anymore. As I said previously I think that because the hammer in the CMC trigger has a sharper angled top to it compared to the original one which is quite rounded it was snagging on the lip of metal on the bolt. Now to test it out at the range on Thursday
