I have a custom spring design website saved in 'my favourites' should the need to get a new spring ever arise...The flint spring from a clipper lighter is very similar to the extractor spring...I am sure if you bought enough chinese plastic ******* from £land you'd probably be able to find a similar sized spring.

Why on earth S&W do not sell all these parts is beyond me, even so, even if they did, ITAR would mean that I wouldn't be able to get em anyway.

I don't think my spring is blue, it doesn't look blue...should i sell my rifle???
