The OP didn't say if he was reloading his target loads or shooting factory stuff for target fodder in either 38spl or 357 mag . A 4" 586/686 are fine but the 6" , nope --not in this lifetime .
A 6" 19/66 are great target guns . I have a 19 in a 6" and it's a favorite . I also have a 28 , 6" and again real nice gun but for just target practice , it's a bit heavy with just target loads in either 357 or 38spl .
