There is no spacer behind a flash hider. It is a crush washer and you never use a crush washer with a can.
The spacer is needed if you use a pistol suppressor on a rifle.
Pistol threads are .450 long, where rifle threads are .625 long. So you need a spacer about .18 long so the muzzle doesn't hit the first baffle and render the can almost useless.
