Sounds like Model 52 magazines are part of your retirement plans.

I was impressed by the 52's trigger. I'm accustomed to a 1911 trigger and fortunate to own a couple Wilson Combats and same number of Volkmann's.

Right or wrong, that is the litmus test I use for triggers and the 52 measured up well. Not sure what the trigger geometry is like compared to the 1911 but it was very good.
