WTS: Smith & Wesson Pre M22 .45 Caliber Model 1950 "Price Drop"
I have for sale a fairly rare Smith & Wesson pre M22 Military .45 caliber Model 1950 with a 5 1/2 inch barrel.The right side of the barrel is stamped 45 Cal Model 1950.The left side is stamped Smith & Wesson.This revolver is in very nice condition and was probably made in early 1952.The bluing is very nice for its age and the bore is as well.The grips are original with no cracks or repairs.The serial number on the inside of the right grip matches the the serial number on the frame.The inside of the left grip has no numbers.There have been no visible modifications made except for the front sight blade was filed down at some point.If it was not for that,i would be asking more than i am.I have personally fired this revolver and it fires and cycles like it should with no issues.The serial number is S909XX.This firearm is in Massachusetts and must be shipped from my FFL to your FFL.The buyer is to pay for the FFL transfer fee and shipping charges.I will accept payment through paypal as a "gift" also u.s.postal money order,or cash if the buyer may be picking it up.Price drop to $1,275.00.I would also be interested in trading for a Colt or Remington Rand Model 1911,Smith Corona 1903A3,M1 Carbine,M1 Garand.All forum rules apply.First person to post "I'LL Take It" followed by a pm gets it.This is also listed for sale on other forums.Please feel free to ask any questions,Thank you.
