My purpose in posting this early S&W sad case was only for show & tell. Seems like it went further from the speculation & advice that it brought. Its restoration is IMO pretty much a dead issue, in that the owner seems satisfied as-is. --- To close on a high note, a shot from memory lane of oldies, a couple are DIY repros I built from scratch, the rest are restoration jobs for clients ------>
